Onsite Services Specialist

The American National Red Cross seeks a Service to the Armed Forces Specialist to support military members, veterans, and their families through compassionate casework, referrals, and emergency assistance. In this nonprofit community-facing role, you will coordinate emergency communications, connect clients with military and veteran resources, and partner with installations and community agencies. You will maintain accurate case records, support outreach events and resiliency workshops, and collaborate closely with volunteers. Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and referrals to service members, veterans, and their families
• Coordinate military casework, emergency communications, and financial assistance referrals
• Collaborate with military installations, VA, and community partners to expand outreach
• Educate clients on Red Cross services, benefits, and available resources
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure data confidentiality and compliance
• Support resiliency workshops and briefing sessions for military families
• Assist with volunteer coordination and training for Service to the Armed Forces programs
• Participate in outreach events, briefings, and community presentations
• Respond to emergencies and support disaster and deployment-related missions as needed
• Report program outcomes and trends to leadership to improve services
