Onsite Services Specialist

The American National Red Cross seeks a Service to the Armed Forces Specialist to support military members, veterans, and their families through emergency communication, casework, and resource navigation. In this mission-driven role, you will coordinate services on and off military installations, conduct outreach and briefings, and collaborate with volunteers and community partners. You will maintain accurate client records, assist with disaster and crisis response impacting military communities, and promote Red Cross programs. This position offers meaningful, hands-on humanitarian work in a compassionate, collaborative, and diverse environment focused on serving those who serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and referrals to active-duty service members, veterans, and military families
• Coordinate and deliver Red Cross emergency communications and casework services
• Assist with outreach, briefings, and workshops on available military family support resources
• Collaborate with military installations, community partners, and volunteers to expand services
• Maintain accurate client records, reports, and documentation in organizational systems
• Support disaster and crisis response activities impacting military communities
• Promote Red Cross programs and volunteer opportunities through presentations and events
• Ensure services are delivered with cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and professionalism
