Finishing Utility Operator

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a Finishing Utility Operator to support production of high-impact communications and advocacy materials. In this hands-on role, you'll operate and monitor finishing equipment, ensure accurate and high-quality output, and help prepare materials for client delivery. Working closely with small, collaborative teams, you'll manage job queues, inspect finished pieces, and maintain records while following safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor finishing equipment to support production of client materials
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure quality output
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, print quality, and adherence to client specifications
• Coordinate with account and production teams to prioritize and schedule jobs
• Maintain detailed production records and follow established workflows
• Follow safety, quality control, and data-handling procedures
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished materials for distribution
• Support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process and quality enhancements
