About the Opportunity

• A thriving outpatient dermatology practice in the Bronx, NY, is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join their fast-paced clinical team. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for an autonomous NP with a strong clinical foundation in medical and surgical dermatology. Note: Prior clinical experience in dermatology is required for this position; new graduates will not be considered.
• Key Responsibilities
• Perform focused dermatologic exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute and chronic skin, hair, and nail conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin cancers).
• Conduct routine skin cancer screenings and full-body exams.
• Perform in-office minor surgical procedures, including biopsies (shave and punch), cryotherapy, intralesional injections, and simple lesion excisions.
• Counsel and educate patients on preventative skin care, sun protection, and medication protocols.
• Collaborate closely with attending Dermatologists and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete detailed and timely documentation in the practice s electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications

• Master s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered New York State Nurse Practitioner License (FNP or AGNP).
• Board Certification (AANP or ANCC); Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential is a plus.
• Active New York DEA registration.
• Minimum 1 2+ years of direct, post-graduate clinical experience practicing in dermatology is required.
• Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.
