Exelon is seeking a Building Engineer A to support safe, reliable operations across our energy facilities. In this role, you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot building mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems that are critical to grid reliability and customer service. You'll perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs, respond to alarms and emergencies, and support clean energy and efficiency initiatives. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you'll help deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable facility operations in alignment with Exelon's culture of safety, integrity, inclusion, and innovation. Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain building mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure safe, reliable performance
  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on utility-related building equipment and controls
  • Support energy efficiency, grid reliability, and clean energy initiatives within facility operations
  • Respond to equipment alarms, emergencies, and work orders, prioritizing safety and service continuity
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, testing, and repair activities
  • Document maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on facility upgrades, modernization, and sustainability projects
  • Follow Exelon safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and environmental regulations at all times
