CDL A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer equipment for over-the-road freight hauling
• Perform accurate pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required driver documentation
• Plan routes, manage hours of service, and meet on-time delivery expectations
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Secure and handle freight in accordance with company and customer requirements
• Operate and care for late-model equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly
• Represent Transco Lines with professionalism at shippers and receivers
• Participate in safety meetings, training, and ongoing performance reviews
