Local Truck Driver

Boyd Bros. Transportation Inc. is seeking a Local CDL-A Truck Driver to haul flatbed freight such as steel and building materials on daily home routes. In this field-based role, you'll safely operate modern equipment, secure and tarp loads, and ensure on-time deliveries while following all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a local CDL-A flatbed truck hauling steel, building materials, and other freight
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
• Secure and tarp flatbed loads according to company and DOT safety standards
• Follow all DOT, state, and federal regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain on-time pickups and deliveries within assigned local routes
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers about load status and issues
• Handle basic load documentation, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork
• Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned truck and equipment
• Represent Boyd Bros. professionally with a customer-focused, driver-first attitude
