Flatbed Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling regional flatbed freight
• Secure and tarp loads such as steel and building materials per safety standards
• Plan routes, manage schedules, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and ELD records in compliance with DOT regulations
• Adhere to all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff
• Protect freight integrity and report any issues, incidents, or delays promptly
• Care for and perform basic maintenance checks on assigned equipment
• Represent Boyd Bros. with professionalism and a customer-focused attitude
