Local CDL-A Truck Driver

Boyd Bros. Transportation Inc. is seeking a Local CDL-A Truck Driver to haul steel, building materials, and other flatbed freight in the Birmingham, AL area. In this field-based role, you'll operate late-model equipment, safely secure loads, and run consistent local routes that get you home regularly. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, on-time pickups and deliveries, and strict adherence to DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a local CDL-A flatbed truck hauling steel, building materials, and other freight
• Perform securement of flatbed loads following company and DOT safety standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all DOT and company regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delivery times
• Ensure on-time pick-up and delivery of freight within the local service area
• Properly use and care for company equipment and technology systems
• Represent Boyd Bros. professionally and support the company's driver-first culture
