Responsibilities

• Safely operate a local CDL-A flatbed truck hauling steel, building materials, and other freight
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow all DOT and company safety regulations
• Secure and tarp flatbed loads according to company and customer standards
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation using onboard systems
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers at pickup and delivery locations
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, and load status
• Adhere to assigned routes and delivery windows while managing time effectively
• Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned tractor and flatbed equipment
• Follow company policies that support a safety-first, driver-focused culture
