Dedicated CDL A Truck Driver

Boyd Bros. Transportation Inc., a family-owned flatbed carrier, seeks a Dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to haul steel, building materials, and other flatbed freight on consistent routes. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment, secure and tarp loads, and ensure on-time deliveries while following all DOT and company safety standards. You'll work closely with dispatch and customers, supported by a driver-first, family-oriented culture that provides steady freight, competitive pay, benefits, and clear paths for long-term driving careers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on dedicated flatbed routes hauling steel, building materials, and related freight
• Secure, tarp, and inspect flatbed loads in compliance with company and DOT safety standards
• Maintain accurate logs, trip reports, and electronic logging device (ELD) records
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance issues
• Deliver freight on time while following all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and terminal staff to coordinate routes and schedules
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at shippers, receivers, and partner locations
• Follow company procedures for cargo securement, weight distribution, and route planning
• Participate in ongoing safety meetings, training, and performance reviews
• Represent Boyd Bros. Transportation Inc. in a professional manner, supporting its driver-first, family-oriented culture
