School Bus Driver

Coach USA is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers. As a key member of the Coach USA family, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, along with various school-related activities. Our drivers ensure that our young passengers have a safe and pleasant journey, reflecting the high standards and reputation of Coach USA, a leading provider in the bus transportation sector.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive students to and from school, following a set schedule and route.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.
• Ensure the safe boarding and exiting of the school bus for all students.
• Manage student behavior and maintain order on the bus to ensure a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school administrators, and team members regarding student transport matters.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times.
• Follow state and local traffic laws and regulations as well as company safety policies.

Required Skills

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Effective communication and management skills for handling school-age children.
• Ability to respond to emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive functions is a plus.
