Bus Driver

Coach USA is seeking dedicated and safety-focused individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers. As part of the Stagecoach Group, Coach USA provides a dynamic work environment with routes spanning commuter services, airport shuttles, sightseeing tours, and charter services. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, timely, and comfortable travel experience for our passengers while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of buses and motor coaches on scheduled routes, charters, and tours.
• Check the bus tires, lights, and oil and conduct general motor vehicle checks prior to departure.
• Adhere to scheduled routes, stops, and traffic laws to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
• Communicate clearly with passengers regarding schedules, stops, and safety procedures.
• Collect fares, issue receipts, and assist passengers with special needs, including the handling of luggage.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle both interior and exterior to uphold the company's professional image.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the dispatcher as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and safety programs to meet company standards.

Required Skills

• Excellent driving skills and familiarity with traffic laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with passengers and other road users.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to manage minor vehicle maintenance.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local and surrounding areas.
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
