Truck Driver

Waste Connections is seeking a safety-focused CDL Truck Driver to join our team in the Transportation & Warehousing industry. In this role, you will operate commercial refuse and recycling trucks on assigned routes, safely collecting and transporting non-hazardous waste from residential, commercial, and industrial customers. You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and ensure accurate documentation of loads and routes. Responsibilities

• Operate CDL refuse and recycling trucks on assigned routes
• Safely collect and transport non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures
• Accurately complete route logs, load tickets, and required documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers in a professional manner
• Report equipment issues, route hazards, and incidents promptly
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely service
• Maintain clean, organized vehicle and adhere to environmental standards
• Support a safety-first, team-oriented, community-focused culture

Required Skills

• CDL Class A or B truck operation
• Vehicle pre- and post-trip inspections
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS rules
