Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractors with flatbed and step-deck trailers on regional and national routes
• Secure, tarp, and protect high-value and over-dimensional freight to company and DOT standards
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and loads
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation in full DOT compliance
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and support staff to ensure on-time, damage-free delivery
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, prioritizing defensive driving and risk reduction
• Represent the company professionally with customers and the motoring public
• Care for and report maintenance needs on late-model equipment to minimize downtime
