CNC Machinist

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II to produce precision components for life-changing medical and advanced aerospace applications. In this role you will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and hold tight tolerances to meet demanding customer and regulatory requirements. You'll inspect parts with precision measuring tools, adjust offsets, and troubleshoot machining issues while supporting continuous improvement, 5S, and safety initiatives in a quality-focused, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills/lathes to produce precision medical and aerospace components
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to meet tight tolerances
• Select tooling, load programs, and make offsets/adjustments for quality and efficiency
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other metrology tools; document results
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams
• Maintain equipment, follow 5
• S, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety, regulatory, and quality procedures in a controlled environment
