Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractors hauling flatbed and step-deck freight nationwide
• Secure high-value, delicate, and over-dimensional loads using proper equipment and techniques
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety
• Maintain full DOT and FMCSA compliance, including accurate electronic logs and records
• Plan routes, manage time effectively, and deliver freight on schedule
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and support staff regarding delays, issues, or changes
• Protect freight integrity through careful handling and securement
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in safety programs and trainings
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and consignees
• Report equipment issues promptly and coordinate maintenance as needed
