Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul routes
• Haul flatbed and step-deck loads, including high-value and delicate freight
• Secure and tarp loads according to company and DOT standards
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff
• Protect freight integrity and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first culture
• Care for and properly operate late-model equipment and trailers
• Represent Smokey Point Distributing professionally on and off the road
