CDL-A Truck Driver

Smokey Point Distributing is seeking professional CDL-A Truck Drivers to haul high-value, delicate, and over-dimensional freight on flatbed and step-deck equipment. Based in Arlington, WA, you'll run regional and OTR lanes with consistent freight and late-model trucks. Responsibilities include safe operation, proper load securement, thorough inspections, and accurate log keeping. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor with flatbed and step-deck trailers on regional and OTR routes
• Secure, tarp, and protect high-value, delicate, and over-dimensional freight
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and required DOT/FMCSA documentation
• Follow all safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and support staff
• Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery schedules and HOS rules
• Care for and report maintenance needs on assigned late-model equipment
• Represent the company professionally with customers and the public
• Participate in ongoing safety and securement training as required
