CDL Route Driver

Waste Connections is seeking a CDL Route Driver to safely operate collection vehicles on established routes, serving residential and commercial customers. In this role, you'll handle non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure timely, reliable service while upholding DOT and company safety standards. You'll interact professionally with customers, work closely with your local team, and support environmental stewardship in the communities you serve. Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL collection truck on assigned residential and commercial routes
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues
• Collect, load, and transport non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables
• Comply with DOT regulations and all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate route logs and basic service-related documentation
• Provide professional, courteous service and communication to customers
• Follow designated routes and schedules while managing time efficiently
• Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and teammates to resolve service issues
• Operate hydraulic and lifting equipment following proper procedures
• Support environmental stewardship and community-focused company initiatives
