Tractor Trailer Driver

Interstate Waste Services seeks a safety-focused Tractor Trailer Driver to transport waste and recyclables for our Transportation & Logistics team. In this essential, full-time role, you'll operate modern tractor trailers between customer locations, transfer stations, and disposal facilities in the greater NY/NJ metro area. Responsibilities include safe driving, thorough pre/post-trip inspections, following DOT and company safety standards, and maintaining accurate logs. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor trailer to transport waste and recyclables between customer sites, transfer stations, and disposal facilities.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT and company documentation.
• Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe driving practices.
• Maintain timely routes, communicate with dispatch, and respond professionally to customer needs.
• Report equipment issues promptly and work with maintenance to keep vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Support Interstate Waste Services' focus on reliability, environmental stewardship, and community service.
