Kivi Bros Trucking is seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model equipment on regional and/or long-haul routes, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery of freight. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, adherence to DOT regulations, accurate logkeeping, and outstanding customer service at shipper and receiver locations. Responsibilities

  • Operate CDL Class A tractor-trailers for regional and over-the-road freight deliveries
  • Perform thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings
  • Ensure all freight is properly loaded, balanced, and secured according to DOT and company standards
  • Use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) to accurately track hours of service and maintain compliance
  • Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations, as well as company safety policies
  • Plan routes, manage time effectively, and communicate with dispatch regarding ETAs, delays, and route changes
  • Practice safe, defensive driving in all weather, traffic, and road conditions
  • Complete all required trip paperwork, bills of lading, and digital documentation accurately and on time
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with shop or roadside assistance as needed
  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers at pickup and delivery locations
  • Assist with basic cargo handling and equipment operation (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed
  • Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and ongoing compliance programs
