Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate PCA company vehicles, including large trucks and trailers, ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined destinations within set timeframes.
• Maintain communication with the central dispatch team to receive delivery instructions and provide updates on route progress.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure functionality and safety, reporting any concerns or maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to company safety policies, as well as all federal and state regulations regarding truck operation and transportation of goods.
• Handle loading and unloading of products, ensuring goods are secured properly to avoid damage.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including logs, delivery tickets, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Participate in ongoing safety and operational training programs.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in driving large vehicles such as semitrucks and trailers.

• Good physical stamina and ability to handle prolonged periods of driving.
