CNC Machinist II

Tecomet is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II for Swiss lathes on the weekend 2nd shift to produce precision components for medical and aerospace customers. Responsibilities include setting up and operating Swiss CNC equipment, reading blueprints and GD&T, making tool and offset adjustments, and holding tight tolerances in a regulated environment. You will perform in-process inspections with precision measuring tools, document quality results, and follow safety and 5S standards. This role offers exposure to advanced machining, continuous improvement, and highly engineered products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision medical and aerospace components
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T to ensure part accuracy
• Perform offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic mechanical or program issues
• Complete required production, quality, and compliance documentation
• Follow safety, 5
• S, and continuous improvement practices on the production floor
• Collaborate with engineers, leads, and quality to resolve nonconformances
