Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a friendly, helpful, and efficient shopping experience at all times
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash, credit, and other transactions with attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, including sales floor, restrooms, coffee and fountain areas, and food service stations
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh merchandise, ensuring proper rotation, pricing, and product presentation
• Support Country Fair's food service program by preparing, packaging, and presenting fresh food items according to food safety and quality standards
• Monitor fuel pumps and forecourt area, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements
• Respond to customer questions about products, promotions, fuel, and store services, resolving issues or escalating to a supervisor as needed
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, loss prevention, safety, and compliance guidelines
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members and store leadership to meet daily sales, service, and operational goals
• Assist with inventory counts, deliveries, and backroom organization to support accurate stock levels and efficient store operations
• Support new promotions, loyalty programs, and sales initiatives to help drive store performance and customer engagement
