Responsibilities

  • Lead shift operations for the convenience store and restaurant area, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout each shift.
  • Supervise and support store associates and food service team members, providing direction, coaching, and real-time feedback.
  • Deliver and model exceptional customer service, resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including tills, safe counts, deposits, and daily reconciliation according to company standards.
  • Manage shift labor by assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and adjusting staffing based on customer traffic.
  • Ensure food preparation, handling, and presentation meet Country Fair quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising, including sales floor, restrooms, and foodservice areas.
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, rotating product, reducing waste, and supporting accurate ordering.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including security checks, equipment start-up/shut-down, and completion of shift reports.
  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in implementing promotions, new initiatives, and company policies.
  • Help train and onboard new team members, reinforcing a positive, team-oriented, and inclusive work environment.
  • Promote adherence to all health, safety, and compliance requirements related to retail, food service, and fuel operations.
