Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist customers, ensuring a friendly, efficient, and positive shopping experience at all times
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process purchases, returns, and fuel transactions, handling cash, credit, and mobile payments responsibly
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floors, coolers, shelves, and food service areas, following merchandising standards and product rotation guidelines
• Monitor product levels and assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries to ensure product availability and attractive displays
• Support fresh food and prepared item offerings by following basic food safety, handling, and cleanliness practices as directed
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming store environment by following company safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures, including monitoring the fuel forecourt where applicable
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions, concerns, and complaints, escalating issues to shift leaders or managers when needed
• Collaborate with team members and shift leaders to meet store performance goals, including sales, customer satisfaction, and cleanliness standards
• Follow all Country Fair policies and procedures, including cash handling, alcohol and tobacco regulations, age-verification requirements, and health and safety standards
• Participate in training and ongoing development opportunities to build product knowledge, improve customer service skills, and grow within the company
