Registered Sleep Technologist

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Sleep Technologist to perform high-quality overnight and daytime polysomnographic studies in a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include sensor application, real-time monitoring, scoring sleep stages and events, and initiating or adjusting PAP therapies per protocol. Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight and daytime sleep studies (polysomnography) following physician orders and AASM standards
• Apply and monitor EEG, EKG, respiratory, oximetry, and other sleep-related sensors and equipment
• Recognize and document sleep stages, events, and abnormalities in real time
• Identify and respond to respiratory or cardiac events, adjusting therapy such as CPAP/Bi
• PAP as directed
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain sleep lab equipment and software
• Score sleep studies and prepare accurate, timely reports for physician interpretation
• Educate patients on sleep study procedures, sleep hygiene, and use of therapeutic devices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists in a team-based clinical environment
• Maintain detailed records, follow infection control and regulatory standards, and support quality improvement
