City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and behavior support to students in partner public schools
• Deliver small-group or one-on-one tutoring in core subjects
• Build positive relationships with students as a mentor and role model
• Track and report student progress using provided tools and data systems
• Collaborate with school staff and Ameri
• Corps teammates to plan and implement support
• Support after-school programs, events, and family engagement activities
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
