City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide daily academic and social-emotional support to students in partner schools
• Tutor students one-on-one and in small groups in core subjects
• Support classroom teachers with lesson implementation and classroom activities
• Track and report student progress and attendance data
• Lead or assist with after-school programs and enrichment activities
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe school climate
