Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group academic support to students in core subjects.
• Support classroom instruction and create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Mentor students to build social-emotional skills, confidence, and school engagement.
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to supervisors.

• Corps members to plan and deliver interventions.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions.
• Assist with school-wide events, attendance initiatives, and family engagement activities.
