Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-class support to teachers and students
• Deliver one-on-one and small-group tutoring in core subjects
• Build positive, consistent relationships with students as a mentor and role model
• Support students' social-emotional learning and behavior management
• Assist with planning and leading after-school or enrichment activities
• Track and report student progress using program tools and data systems
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team and school staff
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Engage families and community partners in student support activities
• Uphold City Year and Ameri
• Corps policies, service standards, and values
