City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic and behavior support to students
• Deliver small-group and one-on-one tutoring and mentoring
• Track and report student progress using basic data tools
• Support classroom activities and school-wide initiatives
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to identify student needs
• Engage families and community partners to support students
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and coaching
• Model positive behavior and foster an inclusive classroom climate
