Student Success Counselor

As a Student Success Coach and Mentor with City Year, you'll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing academic and social-emotional support to students. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you'll tutor in classrooms, lead small groups, and mentor students to build skills, confidence, and strong attendance. You'll track student progress, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate. Responsibilities

• Provide daily mentoring and academic support to students in partnership with school staff
• Help students set goals, build study skills, and track progress toward graduation
• Support classroom instruction, small-group activities, and tutoring sessions
• Build positive relationships with students and foster a safe, inclusive environment
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri

• Collect and record student data to inform support strategies
