Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class academic support in partnership with teachers
• Offer small-group or one-on-one tutoring in key subjects
• Build positive relationships and mentor students to support social-emotional growth
• Monitor student progress and track data to inform support strategies
• Collaborate with school staff and City Year teammates to plan interventions
• Support school-wide events, activities, and positive school climate initiatives
• Participate in ongoing City Year and Ameri
• Corps trainings and professional development
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and school partners on student progress
