City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and small-group tutoring in core subjects to help students stay on track.
• Build positive relationships with students through daily mentoring and coaching.
• Collaborate with teachers to reinforce lessons and track student progress.
• Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with after-school programs, enrichment activities, and school events.
• Use data and teacher feedback to adjust support for individual students.
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and leadership development.
• Model professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to service.
