Residential HVAC Service Technician

ARS/Rescue Rooter seeks a Residential HVAC Service Technician to provide expert diagnostics, repair, and maintenance for home heating and cooling systems. You'll troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps, perform safety checks, and recommend repair or replacement solutions. Working directly in customers' homes, you'll deliver safe, courteous, and efficient service while documenting work clearly. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on HVAC equipment
• Recommend replacement options and system upgrades when appropriate
• Explain findings, options, and pricing to customers clearly and professionally
• Complete work orders, paperwork, and documentation accurately and on time
• Operate company vehicle safely and maintain tools and inventory
• Follow all safety procedures, codes, and company standards
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and improve technical skills
• Collaborate with dispatch and office staff to schedule and complete jobs efficiently
