Lutheran Social Services is seeking a Part-Time Support Staff member to provide compassionate, hands-on support to clients in our behavioral health, housing, and family service programs. In this role, you will assist with daily living tasks, appointments, group activities, and access to community resources while helping maintain a safe, respectful, and client-centered environment. You will document services, communicate observations to the care team, and collaborate closely with professionals across disciplines. Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients in behavioral health, housing, and family services programs
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, appointments, and accessing community resources
- Monitor client safety, well-being, and program adherence; report concerns to supervisors
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and client records per agency and regulatory standards
- Support group activities, educational sessions, and skill-building programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate client care and services
- Uphold trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally responsive practices
- Assist with intake, orientation, and transitions of clients into and out of services
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and community partners
- Follow organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical guidelines
