Lutheran Social Services seeks compassionate Women's Recovery Center Staff to support women in residential substance use and behavioral health recovery. In this role, you will provide direct care, monitoring, and encouragement; assist with daily living needs and medication observation; and help facilitate groups focused on recovery, life skills, and wellness. You will accurately document observations, support individualized recovery plans, and help maintain a safe, trauma-informed, and welcoming environment. Working within a mission-driven, faith-based, and client-centered culture, you'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, respond to crises using de-escalation skills, and model healthy boundaries and coping strategies. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support and monitoring to women in residential recovery, ensuring safety and adherence to program guidelines
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate groups focused on recovery, life skills, and wellness under clinical guidance
  • Assist clients with daily living needs, medication observation per policy, and transportation to appointments as needed
  • Document client observations, behaviors, and incidents accurately and timely in electronic records
  • Support individualized treatment and recovery plans developed by clinical staff, reinforcing goals and interventions
  • Promote a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and dignity-centered environment aligned with LSS mission and values
  • Respond calmly to crises, de-escalate situations, and follow emergency and incident reporting procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and participate in staff meetings and trainings
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, security checks, and compliance with health, safety, and confidentiality standards
  • Educate and model healthy boundaries, coping strategies, and relapse-prevention behaviors for clients
