Lutheran Social Services of WI & UP MI seeks Adult Residential Support Professionals to empower adults in community-based homes. In this role, you'll provide trauma-informed, person-centered support with daily living, medication prompts, community integration, and skill-building for individuals with behavioral health or developmental needs. Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support to adults in residential programs, promoting safety, dignity, and independence.
- Assist with daily living skills, medication prompts, transportation, and community integration activities.
- Implement trauma-informed and recovery-focused support plans in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Monitor, document, and report client progress, behaviors, and incidents in a timely, accurate manner.
- Support crisis prevention and use de-escalation strategies to maintain a stable home environment.
- Coordinate with families, guardians, and community providers to support holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, respectful, and therapeutic residential setting consistent with agency standards.
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Model professional boundaries, ethical practice, and respect for cultural and spiritual diversity.
- Advocate for client rights, self-determination, and access to needed services and supports.
