Onsite Services Specialist

The American National Red Cross seeks a Service to the Armed Forces Specialist to support military members, veterans, and their families through emergency communication and assistance. Reporting to the Emergency Services Coordinator in our Nonprofit & Social Services team, this role manages urgent casework, links families to critical resources, and assists with disaster response. You will conduct outreach to bases and community partners, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with staff and volunteers. Responsibilities

• Coordinate Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) emergency communications and support for military members, veterans, and their families.
• Respond to emergencies and disasters, connecting military families with critical Red Cross resources.
• Conduct outreach, briefings, and presentations to military installations and community partners.
• Maintain accurate case records, data entry, and reporting in line with Red Cross standards.
• Collaborate with volunteers, staff, and partners to deliver timely humanitarian services.
• Support disaster response operations and community preparedness activities as needed.
• Provide information and referrals to additional military and community support services.
• Ensure services are delivered with cultural competence, confidentiality, and compassion.
