Onsite Services Specialist

The Service to the Armed Forces Specialist at the American National Red Cross supports service members, veterans, and their families through emergency communications, resource referrals, and casework. In this mission-driven role, you will coordinate services on and off military installations, connect clients with community resources, and assist with deployment and reintegration events. You'll collaborate with military commands, volunteers, and partners, maintain accurate case records, and promote Red Cross programs through outreach and briefings, advancing our humanitarian mission every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and resources to service members, veterans, and their families
• Coordinate and deliver emergency communication messages between military members and families
• Connect clients with community resources, financial assistance, and counseling referrals
• Conduct outreach, briefings, and presentations on Red Cross military family services
• Maintain accurate case records and program documentation in databases
• Collaborate with military installations, VA facilities, and community partners
• Support deployment, reintegration, and resiliency events for military families
• Assist with volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination for SAF programs
• Participate in disaster response activities as needed to support affected military families
• Ensure services are delivered in alignment with Red Cross humanitarian principles and policies
