Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate auto bodily injury claims from first notice through resolution
• Assess liability, coverage, and damages using policies, statements, and evidence
• Review and analyze medical records and bills to determine injury value
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and providers within authority limits
• Document claim activity, rationale, and decisions in claims systems accurately and timely
• Collaborate with legal, medical, and internal teams on complex or litigated claims
• Communicate empathetically and professionally with customers and stakeholders
• Identify potential fraud indicators and follow escalation procedures
• Adhere to state regulations, company guidelines, and performance metrics
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance claims expertise
