Onsite Services Specialist

The American National Red Cross seeks a Service to the Armed Forces Specialist to support service members, veterans, and their families through emergency communications, casework, and community outreach. In this mission-driven, community and social services role, you will coordinate critical messages between families and military commands, connect clients to vital resources, and deliver resiliency and preparedness education. You will collaborate with military installations, community partners, and volunteers, promoting compassion, inclusion, and humanitarian values while making a direct impact on military communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services and referrals to service members, veterans, and military families
• Coordinate emergency communications between military families and command
• Conduct client intake, case management, and follow-up support
• Collaborate with military installations, VSOs, and community partners
• Deliver outreach, briefings, and workshops on Red Cross military programs
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in service databases
• Support disaster response and resiliency programs for military communities
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to support program delivery
• Promote diversity, inclusion, and adherence to humanitarian principles
• Prepare reports and participate in program evaluation and improvement
