Crew Leader - Tree Care

Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Crew Leader - Tree Care to supervise field crews on commercial tree care projects. In this hands-on role, you'll lead daily operations including pruning, removals, cabling, and stump grinding while ensuring strict safety and quality standards. Coordinate crew schedules, inspect work sites, operate and oversee use of bucket trucks, chippers, and chainsaws, and train crew members on best arboricultural practices. You'll interact with clients and site contacts, complete basic documentation, and support installation and maintenance across large commercial and municipal properties in a safety-first, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise tree care crews on commercial properties
• Plan daily work, assign tasks, and monitor productivity
• Perform and oversee pruning, removals, cabling, and stump grinding
• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE use
• Operate and oversee operation of bucket trucks, chippers, and chainsaws
• Inspect job sites for quality, hazards, and compliance with scope
• Train and mentor crew members in arboricultural best practices
• Communicate with clients and site contacts as needed
• Complete basic job reports, timesheets, and equipment checks
• Coordinate with managers on scheduling, materials, and equipment needs
