Crew Leader

Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Crew Leader - Tree Care to supervise tree care crews on commercial properties. In this hands-on role, you'll lead daily operations including pruning, removals, cabling, and stump grinding while ensuring strict safety and quality standards. You'll operate and direct use of chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and loaders, read work orders, and communicate with supervisors and clients on-site. You'll train crew members, inspect equipment, document work, and support scheduling so projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to Yellowstone's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily tree care operations on commercial properties
• Perform and oversee pruning, removals, cabling, and stump grinding
• Ensure compliance with all company and OSHA safety standards
• Operate and direct safe use of chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Train, coach, and oversee performance of crew members
• Review work orders and plan labor, equipment, and materials
• Inspect and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Communicate progress and site issues to supervisors and clients
• Document work performed and report incidents or near-misses
• Support scheduling to complete projects on time and to quality standards
