Crew Leader

Yellowstone Landscape is seeking a Crew Leader - Tree Care to lead commercial tree maintenance projects. In this hands-on role, you'll supervise crew members, coordinate daily work, and ensure safe, efficient completion of pruning, removals, and stump grinding. Operate and oversee use of chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and rigging equipment following strict safety standards. Read work orders, plan job layouts, and communicate with supervisors and clients on progress and site conditions. Train teammates, model professionalism, and help maintain equipment. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a tree care crew on commercial jobsites
• Plan daily work based on work orders and site conditions
• Perform and oversee tree pruning, removals, and stump grinding
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and rigging equipment safely
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct jobsite safety checks
• Train crew members on equipment use and proper tree care techniques
• Communicate job status and issues to supervisors and clients
• Inspect and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and cleanup on every project
• Coordinate materials, disposal, and logistics for each job
