Truck Driver

Republic Services is seeking a dependable Company Truck Driver to support essential environmental services. In this role, you will safely operate company trucks on residential and commercial routes to collect and transport non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables. You'll conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety standards, and complete routes on time while maintaining accurate logs and using on-board systems. Working in a safety-first, service-focused culture, you'll provide professional customer interactions, support sustainability goals, and contribute to clean, reliable waste and recycling services in your community.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks on assigned residential and commercial routes following safety and DOT regulations
• Collect, transport, and dump non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables on schedule
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and local traffic laws
• Complete route paperwork and use on-board or handheld systems for tracking
• Provide courteous, professional service and communicate with dispatch as needed
• Secure loads properly and ensure vehicles are clean and compliant
• Assist with occasional overtime, route changes, or special pickups as required
