Scottsdale Air is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our residential and light commercial team. In this field role, you'll install and replace heating, cooling, and duct systems across the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix area. Responsibilities include reading plans, setting equipment, running refrigerant lines and ductwork, start-up and testing, and ensuring clean, code-compliant installations. You'll work closely with a small, customer-focused crew that values integrity, quality workmanship, and long-term relationships. Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and retrofit residential and light commercial HVAC systems to code and manufacturer specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job layouts to plan efficient installations
  • Run, connect, and seal refrigerant lines, ductwork, condensate drains, and electrical components safely
  • Start up, test, and balance systems; verify proper airflow, charge, and performance
  • Troubleshoot basic installation issues and coordinate solutions with lead installers or supervisors
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and company vehicles; follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, tenants, and site contacts
  • Complete required documentation, start-up forms, and photos using mobile apps or work orders
  • Collaborate with team members to meet schedules and quality standards on multi-system projects
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on equipment, codes, and best practices
