Technician, Plumbing Service

Timos is seeking a Plumbing Service Technician to support our transportation and warehousing facilities. You will inspect, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for terminals, yards, and offices, ensuring safe, code-compliant operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting leaks and blockages, servicing pumps and fixtures, winterizing systems, and supporting upgrades during expansion projects. You'll coordinate with operations and logistics teams to minimize downtime, maintain service records, and work with vendors and inspectors, all while upholding Timos' data-driven, continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment in terminals, yards, and offices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, clogs, pressure issues, and equipment failures in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pipes, pumps, valves, water heaters, and drainage systems.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan and execute jobs.
• Coordinate repairs and shutdowns with operations teams to minimize impact on logistics activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.
• Support facility expansions, remodels, and new installations in collaboration with vendors and contractors.
• Respond to emergency plumbing issues and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and cost savings, aligning with Timos' continuous improvement culture.
